Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The on-site walk-through, the custom lighting plan and the written quote are free, with no obligation.
When is the best time for a consultation?
Near dusk, when we can see how light behaves and you can tell us what you’d love to see glowing. We can also meet during the day if that works better.

Do I need to have a design in mind?
Not at all. Most clients start with a feeling (“I want the front to feel more welcoming”) and we translate it into a plan. Our design studio and style quiz are good places to explore ideas first.
Design & installation
What kind of lights do you use?
We install low-voltage LED fixtures in solid brass, copper and cast aluminum, plus commercial-grade holiday and permanent lighting systems. Each is chosen for the job, not by a one-size-fits-all package.
Will digging damage my lawn or landscaping?
Low-voltage cable is shallow and narrow. We bury it neatly, protect existing plantings and leave the lawn tidy.
How do I control my lights?
Options include dusk-to-dawn timers, astronomical clocks and phone-app control with scenes and zones. We’ll walk you through your system after installation.
Can you add to my existing lighting?
Usually yes. We can expand, repair or upgrade systems installed by anyone, including converting to LED.
Cost & timing
How much does landscape lighting cost?
It depends on the size of the property, the number of features and the controls you choose. Our cost guide explains the factors and our online estimator provides an instant ballpark. Your free quote makes it exact.
Can we install in phases?
Yes. We can design the whole property and install in stages that match your budget, starting with the highest-impact areas.
Will LED lighting increase my electric bill?

How long does installation take?
It depends on project size and complexity. Your quote includes a clear schedule.
Holiday & seasonal
When should I book Christmas lighting?
As early as possible. Installation slots fill ahead of the season, and booking early gives you the widest choice of dates.
Do you take the lights down?
Yes. Takedown and storage can be included so you never have to handle a strand.
What is permanent holiday lighting?
It’s a slim track installed along your roofline that holds programmable LEDs. You can change colors for holidays or game days from your phone, with no yearly installation.
Do you do Halloween, game-day and event lighting?
Yes. Color lighting and event lighting are available as add-ons or standalone installs.
Repair & maintenance
Some of my lights are out. Can you fix them?
Yes. We diagnose and repair dead zones, flicker, damaged cable and failed transformers, whoever installed the system.
How often should landscape lighting be serviced?
Many systems benefit from a yearly visit to clean, re-aim and check connections. Properties with fast-growing plants may need more.
Can you upgrade my old halogen lights to LED?
Yes. We evaluate your fixtures and transformer, then convert in the most economical way.
Commercial
Do you handle commercial properties?
Yes: storefronts, restaurants, offices, HOAs, campuses and houses of worship. We coordinate scheduling, approvals and electricians as needed.
Can you work outside business hours?
Often yes. We plan installation around your operations to limit disruption.
Do you offer maintenance plans for businesses?
Yes. Scheduled maintenance keeps commercial lighting clean, aimed and working.
